The ASPP Annual Conference will be hosted by the Politics Department at Newcastle University on 24 - 26 June 2019. Click here to visit conference website.
The theme will be: Justice in Times of Austerity, Rupture, and Polarisation.
We welcome papers in any area of social and political philosophy, and particularly encourage papers offering normative or evaluative perspectives addressed to the contemporary political climate - papers concerned with justice in or in response to the context of countries reducing public expenditure and/ or budget deficits, rising inequality, attitudes and parties veering towards political extremes, declining political civility, and both states and supra-state institutions facing schisms and separatist movements.

The 2018 ASPP Conference was co-organised by LUISS Guido Carli (Department of Political Science) and Sapienza University of Rome (Department of Philosophy).
The conference was held 21 - 23 June 2018 in Rome and the theme of the conference was Legitimacy.
