Our Res Publica journal is published quarterly and we organise a conference annually.

Res Publica is an interdisciplinary publication concerned with the philosophical analysis of moral, political, social, and legal issues.

​It provides a forum for discussion of theoretical issues, a public arena for voicing matters of practical concern, and a vehicle for addressing questions of morality, politics, law and society, the interconnections between them and, more generally, the relations of theory to practice.

POST GRADUATE ESSAY PRIZE
Res Publica offers an annual prize for the best article submission from a postgraduate student.

This may be in any area of moral, legal, social or political philosophy.

We invite entries from both current postgraduate students and those who were awarded their PhD (i.e., passed their viva) no earlier than 1 May 2021.

Membership

​Members of the Association receive a year's subscription to Res Publica, and are entitled to attend the Annual Conference at a discounted rate.

Membership costs £35 a year or £20 for students and the unwaged.
