Introduction to ASPP

The Association for Social and Political Philosophy (formerly the Association for Legal and Social Philosophy) was founded in 1972.
The Association aims to promote inquiry in the fields of social and political philosophy, broadly conceived, and welcomes the participation of those working in any area of normative philosophy, including moral and legal philosophy.
The Association's journal, Res Publica, was founded in 1995 and is published by Springer. It appears quarterly.
Since its inception, the Association has organised an annual conference. The participation of graduate students at these conferences is welcomed.
